As the well-known line goes in the movie Jaws, “We’re gonna need a bigger boat.”

TimeXtender was assigned a room for a maximum of 144 attendees at #Qonnections2016 for last night’s presentation, but we needed a bigger room as more than 150 executives poured in from around the world. Attendees came to hear Donald Farmer, Qlik VP, Innovation and Design, and TimeXtender’s CEO Heine Krog Iversen, VP Matt Dyor, and Data Warehouse Consultant Joseph Treadwell talk about “The Modern Data Warehouse in the Age of Self Service” and they weren’t disappointed.

They also observed firsthand the power of data warehouse automation (DWA) as we provided a live demonstration of how to build and deploy a DW through automation rather than manual coding.

All this activity has led to outstanding traffic at our booth (#899) as more and more people are finding out about the new worldwide partnership between TimeXtender and Qlik. People are reading about it in the media and the social media activity about TimeXtender has been terrific, as we have been at the top of the social media activity board for “show buzz” about exhibitors at Qonnections 2016.

We’ve met with companies interested in partnering, end-users interested in buying, and press and analysts interested in covering the announcement. And Qlik’s Chief Executive Officer, Lars Björk, (picture right down below with TimeXtender VP Matt Dyor, left) stopped by for a visit as well!

We’re excited to see what the next few days bring us at the event. If you were unable to attend, feel free to reach out and find out more about the presentation, demo, or new partnership and we would be happy to help.
